Houston Marine Training Services was established in 1972 to assist candidates in preparation for Coast Guard License exams and has grown with the industry in a fast-changing regulatory environment. Houston Marine has a commitment to providing every mariner with proper training by the most efficient, economic methods available. They have served more than 70,000 mariners and nearly 700 companies in the industry.
Each course at Houston Marine Training Services is taught by a USCG-approved and licensed officer, who has many years of relevant training and teaching experience. Additionally, Houston Marine recently introduced the web-based study program for Captain’s Licenses becoming the first marine training company to provide such a service. All of Houston Marine’s USCG-Approved Courses meet the stringent USCG licensing requirements, as well as the regulatory requirements of the STCW-95 code.
About the Training Center
Houston Marine Training Services offers a wide array of training courses in each of their locations throughout the Gulf region. Every course includes a complimentary breakfast and a free shuttle from the hotel to the training facility. Classes begin promptly at 8am.
