The Greater New Orleans Industrial Educational Council (GNOIEC) is a designated, official TWIC enrollment center.

With locations in St. Rose, LA and Biloxi, MS, GNOIEC is a convenient option for many Gulf Coast residents, and they offer all TWIC enrollment services. You can even pre-enroll online, which speeds up the time you need to spend at the enrollment center.

Formed in 1991 by owners of petro-chemical processing plants and their contractors to provide industrial education for plant personnel and contract workers, GNOIEC trains up to 22,000 workers in Generic Industrial Safety Orientation annually.  Industrial plants and construction firms along the Mississippi River Industrial Corridor and Louisiana-Mississippi Gulf Coast utilize GNOIEC as a cost-effective alternative to in-house training.

GNOIEC’s mission is to provide businesses with safer workers through affordable, innovative training that meets, and often exceeds, mandated training requirements.

More than Just Training

GNOIEC doesn’t just provide training.  Their centers offer medical testing, background screening, and enrollment for various credentials.  Additionally, they provide many of the forms you will need online on their website, so that you can reduce the time you need to spend at the center itself.  They also provide computer-based training for some courses, which is a time- and cost-effective way of fulfilling training requirements.
